New York Times Recognizes Glassboro’s Recent Town & Gown Success


A recent New York Times Article highlights this successful public/private partnership between Glassboro, Rowan University and Nexus Properties.   A new public park, Glassboro Town Square, has become the literal and symbolic connection between the University and the town. Glassboro Town Square functions as the anchor for the new dynamism happening at Rowan University, on Rowan Boulevard and as the hub of Glassboro’s Arts and Entertainment District. Glassboro Town Square demonstrates how an array of park spaces, each with a particular focus, can be woven together into a cohesive new park that inspires connection, expression and joy within a sustainable and enduring public place.
