Clarke Caton Hintz was presented the 2010 American Institute of Architects New Jersey Firm of the Year at the Annual Awards Gala held at the Carl Icahn Laboratory in Princeton, NJ on January 8, 2011. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) award is given annually to an architecture firm that has made major accomplishments in the field of architecture and has distinguished themselves amongst their peers. The award is based on professional, community and technical accomplishments.
In addition to the firm receiving this honor, Michael Hanrahan, an Associate Partner at Clarke Caton Hintz, was installed as president of the AIA New Jersey chapter. Michael has been with CCH for nearly 15 years and has served as project manager on a variety of project types in a variety of market sectors.
The AIA Firm of the Year award recognizes that Clarke Caton Hintz is defined, not only by our portfolio of work, but also the personal commitment of our principals and staff. Many members of the firm are involved within their communities, whether it be coaching a local youth sports team, a commitment to their religious institution or advocating sustainable practices in their neighborhoods. In addition, the principals and senior staff provide leadership on the Boards of numerous statewide organizations. These Boards include PlanSmart NJ, New Jersey Future, Affordable Housing Professionals of New Jersey, American Planning Association, American Society of Landscape Architecture, the New Jersey Historic Trust, Preservation New Jersey and American Institute of Architects.
