TRENTON, NJ - Michael Sullivan, ASLA, AICP has been named a partner
of Clarke Caton Hintz. Serving clients as both a Landscape Architect
and a Professional Planner, he has developed a practice that is founded
upon a commitment to excellence in environmental planning and design,
the principles of smart growth and the creation of livable places. His
work -- which encompasses urban and traditional neighborhood design,
landscape architecture and master planning -- has been recognized by
the American Planning Association, the American Society of Landscape
Architects and other noteworthy organizations.
Mr.
Sullivan's vision and innovation has led to the creation and
revitalization of some of New Jersey's most successful places.Old York
Village, which represents the first successful implementation of a
transfer of development rights program in New Jersey, is currently
under construction in Chesterfield Township. Within Asbury Park's
Waterfront Redevelopment Area Mr. Sullivan has designed a series of
streets and open spaces that are serving as the public framework for an
exciting beachfront renewal.Implementation of the Peninsula at Bayonne
Harbor Redevelopment Plan is underway, which will result in the
conversion of a former United States military pier into a series of
vibrant, mixed-use urban neighborhoods overlooking New York Harbor.
Mr.
Sullivan is presently active in the development of several notable
planning and design projects, including Minish Waterfront Park in
Newark, the New Jersey Public Health, Environmental and Animal
Laboratory, Readington's Whitehouse Corridor Master Plan, and NJ
Transit's Somerville Landfill Transit Oriented Development Plan. He
currently serves as the consulting planner to the Bayonne Local
Redevelopment Authority, Clinton Township, and Readington Township.
