May 2, 2005

Trenton, NJ – Clarke Caton Hintz, along with the Bayonne Local Redevelopment Authority, Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects and Fidelco Realty has been recognized as the recipients of New Jersey Future’s 2005 Smart Growth Award in honor of the Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor. The Smart Growth Awards Celebration will take place on Wednesday, May 4th from 5:30pm – 8:00pm at the Newark Club in Newark, NJ, at what has become the premier celebration in New Jersey. The Peninsula at Bayonne Harbor will transform the former Military Ocean Terminal into a mixed use community extending two miles into the New York Harbor.

The master plan calls for five distinctive residential neighborhoods with a concentration of service and destination retail, select commercial office locations, special leisure/recreation and cultural attractions, civic facilities, and public open space all accessible by public transit, water transportation, and private automobile.
