Clarke Caton Hintz Announces LEEDŽ Accredited Professionals
November 9, 2007
TRENTON, NJ - Elizabeth McManus and Kathleen Grady, planners at Clarke Caton Hintz, have recently been awarded LEED® AP Accreditation.  They are joined by Jessica Latherow, AIA, LEED® AP as part of the team at Clarke Caton Hintz specializing in green design.

Leaders in their field, Ms. Manus and Ms. Grady are two of only three New Jersey planners listed in the USGBC LEED® AP Directory.  LEED®, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a benchmark system created by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) that serves as a guide to designing, constructing and operating high performance green buildings.  LEED® accreditation signifies the expertise of Ms. McManus, Ms. Grady and Ms. Latherow in the LEED® rating system and in green building design.

Green design, also referred to as sustainable design, is beginning to permeate all design disciplines, including architecture, planning, landscape architecture, and engineering.  Clarke Caton Hintz is pleased to be at the forefront of this movement.

A member of the USGBC, Clarke Caton Hintz offers a wide variety of sustainable design services to our public and private clients.  We are experts in navigating clients through all phases of green development, including performing LEED® reviews, conducting sustainability charrettes, and completing LEED® certification submittals and documentation.  Additionally, our public clients can take advantage of our municipal planning services that are aimed at promoting sustainable development practices.  These services include sustainability elements of master plans, green land use ordinances, and neighborhood and redevelopment plans that are LEED® certifiable under the LEED®-Neighborhood Development rating system.
