Elizabeth McManus Appointed to Sustainable Lawrence Board of Directors

Lawrence, Mercer County, N.J. - Sustainable Lawrence recently appointed Elizabeth McManus, PP, AICP, LEED AP, to its Board of Directors. Sustainable Lawrence is a nonprofit organization composed of Township residents, businesses, congregations and other organizations who are dedicated to creating a sustainable community in Lawrence Township. Sustainable Lawrence is an innovative organization that works to promote sustainability using the "Natural Step" and works to achieve such goals as reducing auto emissions, reducing the carbon footprint, promoting green construction, inclusive public participation, town center development and the reduction of waste. The organization acheives these goals via public outreach and education and working directly with existing and would-be business owners to help them "green" their business and/or their property. Having worked in Lawrence Township on affordable housing and redevelopment matters, Ms. McManus is very pleased to be given the opportunity to work with the Township through this additional avenue.
