In 1999, Clarke Caton Hintz began work on the design of the new Administrative Complex. The plan calls for the restoration of the 1828 Hunterdon County Courthouse, the 1925 jail, and the 1901 section of the Hall of Records. The 1965 Administration Building will be renovated to include a connection to the Hall of Records and an upgrade of facilities. This building will be renovated to improve the urban qualities of the complex fit with historic character of Flemington Borough while meeting the needs of County Governor well into the 21st Century.
