Clarke Caton Hintz was retained to design and build a series of projects to upgrade the building facilities at several schools in the North Plainfield School District. The gymnasium is a multiuse facility incorporating most parts of the physical education program at North Plainfield High School. The steel frame and masonry structure is sheathed on the exterior with split face masonry, face brick and an exterior insulation stucco system.
