The Alexander Street Development Plan deals with specific issues such as the expansion of McCarter Theater, converting the Dinky Station to a visitor's center, preserving historic structures and providing structured parking. A mixed use structure is proposed to be located on an existing parking lot next to the Dinky Station. The plan also illustrates how circulation and the urban design character of the street can be improved.
