Rowan University has started to assemble a site of approximately 400
acres located at the intersection of Route 55 and Route 322. The
proposed location for the high technology center is gently rolling land
now occupied by fruit tree orchards 2 miles away from the University's
main campus in Glassboro. In addition to the high tech center, the
University plans to develop a major sports complex on some of the
proposed development area. This complex will include a football
stadium, baseball park and indoor sport facilities.
