The Academy Place Housing Project includes the renovation of fourteen existing rowhouses which contain 40 apartment units; the renovation of a former industrial building to contain: 2 apartment units, a property management office and a community room, for a total of 42 new affordable two, three and four bedroom dwellings. The buildings required extensive interior and exterior renovations to meet the strict requirements of the NJ State Historic Preservation Office.
