Trenton Public Schools - Trenton Central High School

Trenton Central High School was designed based on the conclusions, developed by CCH, of the Trenton Abbott District Five Year Facilities Master Plan. The project takes into account the current condition of the facility, required additions and alterations of spaces, as well as projected enrollment growth and proposed changes in the curriculum. Additions include a new classroom wing and a new gynmasium.

The Trenton Central High School, originally built in the 1930's, had been altered, enlarged and re-organized many times. Many of it's systems have outlived their useful lifetimes, and some of the facilities are out-of-date. The renovation proposes a complete spatial, mechanical and electrical upgrading, hand in hand with a sensitive approach to the historic character of the building.
